   Well, islands and city-states tend to have huge population densities. As a matter of fact, Mauritius has a small proportion of the density of Hong Kong, Singapore, Malta or London, NYC, Paris..

   As far as Rwanda, it’s really the whole Great Lakes region that is densely populated which is partly explained by the fertility of its soil.

   Egypt ranks high but you have to remember that most of the country is empty deserts. The density in the Nile Valley is crazy and it’s even crazy in the Nile Delta.

   Nigeria is impressive because well, the place is big and quite evenly populated and yet has a high density.
