As a friend summed it up:
‘Gotta give it to Egypt. They were watching game tapes while the Lions were still deciding whether or not they’d participate. Did you hear the players were on strike? they didn’t want Otto [Pfister]- the man seems to attract players rebellion wherever he goes – remember Togo at the World Cup.’
