The Nigerian-British playwright and novelist Biyi Bandele’s play Oroonoko, whose adaption of a play ‘… about Africa and slavery; about slave takers who are African, and slave traders, who are white, started playing in New York City this weekend, got profiled in the Arts Section of the New York Times.
