Actually when I look at the list there are quite a few other exceptions. Just in the top 20 I see Stephen Colbert, Bill Maher and Keith Olberman, so there is a little balance but yes the majority are conservatives.

I think Jon Stewart (third from left, top row) would be *very* upset with you if he knew you were referring to him as “right of the political spectrum”. :)

Unless you are talking about relative to say Europe the vast majority of people consider him to be on the far left. However I must add that when I first arrived in the US 5 years ago and saw John Stewart on TV I also assumed he was on the right, simply because the “center” in US politics is so far to the right.
