Leo Africanus / Africa is a Country

Bryn Mahr College [corrected] outside Philadelphia in Pennsylvania is funding a literary prize for “African youth literature.” The categories are stories aimed at 8 to 11 year olds and 12 to 15 year olds. It also has a separate prize for a writer younger than 18 years.  Prospective authors have to be citizens or dual citizens of African countries. More information here.
