About a month ago “Global Pulse,” a TV and series on US satellite channel, LINK TV, did this quick analysis of global media coverage of Jacob Zuma, before and after he became South Africa’s fourth democratic president. As Global Link shows the media hardly blinked as it went from deriding to praising Zuma without winking. The media covered in the insert include South Africa’s SABC, France’s TV 5 Afrique, the British BBC, Germany’s Deutsche Welle, Al Jazeera and Iran’s Press TV.

I’ve noticed the trend as well from SA’s print media. Good example being the whole Zille saga, four months ago the media wouldn’t have criticized Zille the way they did. I guess now that Zuma’s HNIC our perspective about him has to automatically change.
The truth is that J.Zuma is the people,s person, and they can identify with him.The people voted for Him,so it is the time now for the critics to change their tune 12million out of 17million voters who participated voted for Him,and 5m voted for the other 20+ parties.Lets face itt Zuma is supported by 67% of the South African population. The socalled experts must now swallow their pride and respect u Msholozi, and the media must change its attitude towards him: Stanley Mondle Mbatha
South Africa,s fourth President,Jacob Zuma has been in power for less than 100 days and the people want him to deliver; they must give him and his team a chance to settle.
The media has been favourable in their coverage, which contrast very much to their attitude before the elections, the way they reported about him then, left a lot to be desired. It seemed as if the sun would fall if Zuma came to power, but it didn,t.The prophets of doom are scutling like pannicking dogs.
Even the Guardian of london swallowed its pride, apologised and agreed to pay him damages for their libelious report about him.We hope that now they,ll leave him alone to govern peacefully.
There it comes again. The Zuma centre is starting to crack. The Communists and Cosatu are now starting to show their true colours, they want msholozi to tow their line.
Msholozi has shown to be no ones puppet.. Those who thought they will remote control him are in for a big shock. He may not have a University degree but is not your average Tom and dick.
He is taking RSA to the right direction. They need to leave him alone to govern peacefully and stop trying to hijack the government on Zuma’s back.
